A new report named Labour and Social Trends in Vietnam 2009/10 was launched on 23 June 2010 by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA). The report was developed by the Institute of Labour Science and Social Affairs with the technical support from the International Labour Organization (ILO).
The ILO is currently working in partnership with its three constituents—governments, workers’ organizations and employers’ organizations—and donors towards achieving the goal of decent work for all in Viet Nam. To do this we are focusing on three strategic areas: 1) Labour Market Governance; 2) Employment and Sustainable Enterprise Development; and 3) Social Protection and Social Security.
